VolleyScorer is a free GetVolleyApps scorekeeping service operated by HarpElle LLC. You do not need an account to use it.

Information stored on your device

The service stores match state, team names, scores, settings, onboarding choices, and supporter-session status in your browser’s local or session storage. This keeps a match available after a refresh and lets connected tabs on the same device stay in sync. You can remove this data by clearing site data in your browser.

Live scoreboard sharing

If you use the TV or spectator-sharing features, match state is shared with viewers who have the match link or QR code. The service uses PeerJS/WebRTC infrastructure to establish those live connections. Do not put confidential or sensitive information in team or court names.

Advertising and cookies

VolleyScorer shows no advertising and sets no advertising or analytics cookies. It runs on value for value: if it earns a place at your scoretable, you can chip in. There is no ad network, no third-party tracking script, and no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

Usage counts

The service sends itself a small number of anonymous counts — which page was opened, which match format was picked, whether a match finished — to Cloudflare Analytics Engine, so we can see which of our sites and formats are actually used. These counts never include your name, team names, scores, a match code, or your IP address, and no cookie or device identifier is attached to them.

Payments

If you choose to chip in, the payment opens Stripe’s hosted checkout. Stripe processes the payment information under Stripe’s privacy policy. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number.

Links and service providers

The service may link to other GetVolleyApps products and uses infrastructure providers needed to host the site and operate live sharing. Those providers may process ordinary request and connection data such as IP address, browser type, timestamps, and diagnostic information.

Your choices and contact

You can clear local site data in your browser at any time, or stop using the service. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to info@volleyscorer.com.
